'SCORE is a resource partner with the Small Business Administration (SBA). SCORE Association volunteers serve as "Counselors to America's Small Business." Working and retired executives and business owners donate their time and expertise as volunteer business counselors and provide confidential counseling and mentoring free of charge. Local chapters provide free counseling and low-cost workshops in their communities.'
This eCommerce workshop provides hands-on interactive training and education. Participants will gain knowledge and technical competencies required in the modern workplace to successfully identify business opportunities electronically in the government and private sector.
Workshop participants will receive hands on training to expand their knowledge and skills to conduct Internet marketing research, define individual business target markets and marketing mix, utilize search engines for marketing and marketing strategies, identify potential and existing customers for their products and services. Specific training will be conducted regarding MARTA's purchasing process. The workshop will also feature training on how to register as a vendor with the State of Georgia, Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and other eProcurement agencies.
